It’s all been said already, but man, I really hate ICE.

The impulse to hide out and bury my head in the sand is flaring up again. I’m not giving up on the world though. Instead, I’m committing to community, again. I have to believe together, we can outlive them and create a better world at the same time.

In the spirit of community, show me any proof you’ve donated to a mutual aid fund and I’ll send you a patch. Screen shot of a receipt to a GoFundMe, to a non-profit, or anything that gets the point across. I’ll mail you a patch! Originally, I wanted to limit this to just MN based funds, but let’s be real. We all need the support of a strong community right now.

Send me proof you donated to something that is generally progressive, and I’ll call it good. Doesn’t require a minimum amount.

• Tending the Soil - Support frontline organizers demanding justice and shutting down ICE in Minnesota

• Fundraising for Mayar - join Alaskans in supporting Mayar Abu Dalfa and her family in surviving and rebuilding their lives in Gaza

• Northwest Abortion Access Fund - help people access abortions in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington

I have 11 patches ready to go, and my partner has signed on to make some more with me if people are interested.
